My Personal Fitness Journey: From Skinny Kid to Fitness Expert

2015

As a child, I was always the skinny kid on the playground, often picked on for my slender frame. My height only accentuated my thinness, making me stand out even more among my peers. Although I was passionate about sports and participated in them throughout my life, my weight remained a constant struggle. At 5 foot 8, I entered high school weighing just 93 lbs, feeling like I was at a disadvantage both socially and athletically.

Despite my physical limitations, I was determined to prove myself on the field and in the gym. I knew I needed to make a change not only to boost my self-confidence but also to improve my athletic performance and reach my full potential. This realization marked the beginning of my fitness journey, a path that would ultimately transform not just my body but also my entire life.

2016-2017



Determined to gain weight and build muscle, I made a steadfast commitment during my junior year of high school. Fueled by my love for football, I worked tirelessly in the gym and pushed myself even harder on a rigorous bulking regimen. This dedication to transforming my physique resulted in an impressive increase in my weight, going from 150 lbs to 200 lbs in less than a year. During this period, I also experienced a growth spurt of 4 inches, further enhancing my physical presence.

To support my bulking efforts, I adopted an aggressive approach to nutrition. I started packing two lunches for school, eating everything in sight, and even asking friends at the lunch table for their  leftover milk. I quickly became known for always having snacks on me, always ready for some calories.

However, the demanding nature of this massive weight gain, combined with the intense football season, took its toll on my body. By the end of the season, I found myself back down to 180 pounds, a reminder of the challenges that come with maintaining such significant physical transformation.


2019

Upon starting college at the University of Georgia, weighing just under 180 pounds and standing at an impressive 6 foot 5, I found myself at a crossroads. Without football to fuel my fitness journey, I needed to discover a new source of motivation to maintain and advance my physical progress. That's when I began to develop a passion for lifting outside of sports, embracing the world of fitness and bodybuilding as my new driving force.

I quickly fell in love with the art of bodybuilding and the pursuit of aesthetics. The process of sculpting my physique, meticulously chiseling each muscle, and striving for the perfect balance of size, symmetry, and proportion became an all-consuming passion. The bodybuilding community opened my eyes to a whole new dimension of fitness, where the pursuit of physical excellence was not just about athletic performance but also about cultivating a visual masterpiece.

2020

By 2020, my commitment to fitness had become an integral part of my life. No longer limited by the constraints of college and sports, I was free to fully immerse myself in my passion for physical transformation. Training five to six days a week, I was determined to reach new heights and push my body to its limits.

During this time, I became insatiable in my quest for knowledge. I spent countless hours binging YouTube videos and absorbing all the information I could about training techniques, nutrition, and motivation. The gym had become my sanctuary, a place where I could unleash my potential and sculpt the body I had always dreamed of.

As I continued to put in the work, day in and day out, I began to see the fruits of my labor. My dedication paid off, and I ultimately bulked up to an impressive 215 lbs. This incredible transformation was a testament to the power of perseverance and unwavering commitment to one's goals.

2021

In 2021, I took my passion for fitness a step further by launching Sovereign Lifestyle, a pre-workout and sportswear brand focused on empowering individuals to take control of their fitness journeys. My goal with Sovereign Lifestyle is to inspire others to embrace a healthy lifestyle and provide them with the tools they need to succeed.

Throughout the years, I've faced various challenges in my fitness journey, including fluctuating weight and adapting to life without sports. But these challenges have only served to strengthen my dedication to fitness and allowed me to develop a wealth of knowledge in muscle gain and overall wellness, especially for hardgainers like myself.

2022-Current

Now, with PiersonFit, I am dedicated to sharing my experience and expertise to help others achieve their fitness goals. Whether you're looking to gain muscle, lose weight, or simply improve your overall health, PiersonFit's personalized workout programs are designed to guide and support you every step of the way.
